Prince William County Speeding Ticket Dismissed
October 2020
Client was stopped and cited for speeding by the Town of Haymarket Police in Prince William County for driving 41mph in a 25mph zone. Client was running late to pick up their child from soccer practice and explained this to the officer. We appeared on our client's behalf in the Prince William County General District Court. Our client was not present for court which was discussed ahead of time. Client had a good driving record and we explained to the Town Attorney that soccer practice had concluded and it was getting dark so our client was hurrying to pick up their child. The case was continued for our client to take a driver improvement course which they did. The speeding charge was dismissed and our client's record was unaffected. We were happy for our client who never had to appear for court and we handled all court-related logistics.
