Speeding Charge Dismissed in Prince William County
October 2020
Young client got stopped by the Town of Haymarket Police in Prince William County and was cited for speeding at 41mph in a 25mph zone. Client was simply driving home and did not realize the speed limit dropped from 35mph to 25mph. The client had a good driving record and this was their first traffic ticket ever. We appeared in the Prince William County General District Court on the client's behalf and negotiated a dismissal of the charge following completed of traffic school. The client completed all requirements and the charge was dismissed. We were happy for the young client because insurance rates can skyrocket for young drivers that are convicted of speeding offenses.
